【摘要】:ThisStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationfordesignandconstructionofportablehand-held,combustionenginedrivenbrushcuttersandgrasstrimmers.Thisstandardisnotapplicabletobackpackpoweredunits,tolawnedgetrimmersortobrushcuttersequippedwithmetalicbladesconsistingofmorethanonepart.Itdescribesmethodsfortheeliminationorreductionofrisksarisingfromtheiruse.Inadditionitspecifiesthetypeofinformationonsafeworkingpracticestobeprovidedbythemanufacturer.Itdoesnothowevergiveanytechnicalrequirementtoreducenoiseandvibrationhazards.Indeedthedifferentmeansavailabletoreducetheserisksareamatterforthetechnicalinformationtowhichthemanufacturermayresort,throughspecialisedbooksorspecificbodies.ThelistofsignificanthazardsdealtwithisgiveninAnnexA.AnnexAalsoindicatesthehazardswhichhavenotbeendealtwith.Environmentalaspectshavenotbeenconsideredinthisstandard.ThisStandardappliesprimarilytomachineswhicharemanufacturedafterthedateofissueofthestandard.
