【摘要】:ThepurposeofthisStandardistoestablishuniformandspecificpracticesforcalculatingandroundingthenumericvaluesusedforinchandmetricscrewthreaddesigndatadimensionsonly.Noattemptismadetoestablishapolicyofroundingactualthreadcharacteristicsmeasuredbythemanufactureroruserofthreadgages.CoveredistheStandardRoundingPolicyregardingthelastfigureordecimalplacetoberetainedbyanumericvalueandthenumberofdecimalplacestoberetainedbyvaluesusedinintermediatecalculationsofthreaddesigndatadimensions.ValuescalculatedtothisStandardforinchandmetricscrewthreaddesigndatadimensionsmayvaryslightlyfromvaluesshowninexistingissuesofASMEB1screwthreadstandardsandaretotakeprecedenceinallneworfuturerevisionsofASMEB1standardsasapplicableexceptasnotedinpara.1.2.ofthisStandard.
