【摘要】:Thispracticemeasuresthetendencyforstainingofapoly(vinylchloride)compositiontooccurduetomigrationintotheplasticofastainingantioxidant(orothercompoundingadditive)fromrubberwithwhichitisinintimatecontact.Thispracticemaybeusedtodeterminerelativestainingresistanceofvinylcompoundsbytestingthemagainstasinglestandardrubbercomposition(Note1).Itmayalsobeusedtocomparerelativestainingtendenciesoftwoormorerubbercompositionsbytestingthemagainstasinglestandardpoly(vinylchloride)composition.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Note1--ThepreparationofsuggestedstandardcompositionsisdescribedintheAppendixX1.Thisproceduremayalsobeapplicabletodeterminestainresistanceofplasticmaterialsotherthanpoly(vinylchloride)incontactwithrubber.Note2--ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
