【摘要】:Thisclassificationsystemcoversliquidcrystalpolymeric(LCP)materialssuitableforinjectionmoldingandextrusion.Thisclassificationsystemallowstheuseofliquidcrystalpolymersthatarerecycled,reconstituted,recycled-regrind,recovered,orreprocessed,oracombinationthereof,providedthattherequirementsasstatedinthisclassificationsystemaremet.Itistheresponsibilityofthesupplierandthebuyerofliquidcrystalpolymersthatarerecycled,reconstituted,recycled-regrind,recovered,orreprocessed,oracombinationthereof,toensurecompliance.Thepropertiesincludedinthisclassificationsystemarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplications.Theseshallbeagreeduponbetweentheuserandthesupplier,byusingsuffixesasgiveninSection5.Thisclassificationsystemandsubsequentlinecallout(specification)areintendedtobeameansofcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinthefabricationofend-useitemsorparts.Itisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticsfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,thecostsinvolved,andtheinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisclassificationsystem.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section11,ofthisclassificationsystem:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisclassificationsystem.
